The first entry of hopefully many!
‘Learning Manager’ or ‘Leman’ is a fresh implementation of a system I wrote for a language academy in Spain. We realised very early on that running an academy was surprisingly complicated and using paper and Excel wasn’t good enough so we spoke to a local programmer who wrote us abasic system back in 2017. I rewrote it in 2023/24 fixing some of the horrors and giving it a lot of new features. We closed the academy but I took some of the inspiration into this new version.
For those who are interested, it’s standard PHP application using Bootstrap and MySQL. For those who are not interested, it’s designed to be a complete academy management system for private language, dance, music schools, etc. My plan is to offer three versions ‘Core’, ‘Standard’ and Premium’ of which Core will be completely free to any one who wants to use it. It’s currently about 80% complete and I expect that it will go live before December this year.
But my first task is to get this website live and show the demo Core system….
